What is a personal technology consultant?

I believe some individuals and small businesses need professional assistance dealing with technological aspects of their lives and businesses. I can provide efficiency in your home and business dealing with electronics physical and software based. Programming of home automation including wifi setup and product purchase assistance. 

What if I don’t know how?

With all aspects of life one cannot know everything. I do not claim to know everything but I can do my best to get you to the correct solution even if I can’t do it myself. 

What projects have you done?

I have designed access control systems for healthcare and government facilities. Designed security camera systems for government, healthcare, small business and personal homes. I have installed wifi systems in small businesses and homes. Converted an organization to digital memberships and taught volunteers how to run these systems. Numerous lessons on personal electronics from DSLR cameras to smart watches. Installed and designed audio systems for homes and commercial businesses. Handled special projects dealing with Microsoft office products including Excel, Word and Access. Instituted a new point of sale system as well as online sales for an organization and individuals. 

How much will it cost me?

I have hourly rates depending on the type of project. I am upfront about cost and can estimate total project cost. Special hours and retainer rates can be discussed for ongoing work. 

What other specialties do you have?

I am a Certified Home Inspector and do home inspections for home owners/home purchasers. I am a certified sUAS (drone) pilot and take pictures from up to 400 feet above objects. I am also training in video editing/producing for small commercials or events.
