About Me

Work:

I spent 2 years at The Altoona Curve AA professional baseball team working in production of prerecorded videos as well as live production during games.

For 4 years I assisted in installation of audio video equipment and edited and produced internal video projects for The Hite Company and electrical distributor. I then worked full time at The Hite Company as a product specialist for electronics and data as well as the only internal video producer for special projects.

Throughout my time at Hite I created a multitude of training classes dealing with fiber optics and other low voltage products. I had also provided company wide technical design and support for security products including access control systems, surveillance projects in homes, schools and prisons and other low voltage products. In dealing with the electronic products I also was the company wide purchasing agent for the low voltage product lines.

I also spent some time with the Energy Resource Group within the Hite Company and designed special computer programs for the company to use for energy audits and energy rebates across Pennsylvania. This also included submitting rebates for most of Pennsylvania on behalf of our customers.

Volunteering:

For 10 years I volunteered for a local fire company reaching Firefighter I status. I also became a wildland firefighter and was deployed to Oregon and Idaho for 2 weeks. I had become a trustee of the fire company and was heavily involved in fundraising.

I currently volunteer at a sportsmen’s club handling their technical needs including designing and maintaining a computer program for checking in members and maintaining the networking of the facility. I have assisted in installing the security cameras and continually monitor their status. I had also implemented a Point of Sale system and online shopping.
